You will only need to know basic crochet skills to make this pattern:
-Single crochet
-Slip stitch
-Single crochet increase
-Invisible decrease
-Berry stitch (explained in detail with video!)
-Basic sewing skills to assemble all the parts together
Materials you will need:
-Size G & C (4mm & 2.75mm) crochet hooks
-Worsted weight yarn
-Fiberfill (or your stuffing of choice)
-15mm & 6mm black safety eyes (you can purchase 15mm eyes HERE & 6mm eyes HERE)
-Stitch marker (I highly recommend these ones HERE)
-Yarn needle
-Scissors
-Dog slicker brush
Finished mammoth measures about 8 in. (20 cm) long & 4.5 in. (10 cm) tall. Caveboy measures 3 in. (7.5 cm) tall. (Please be aware that depending on your gauge and the type of hook and yarn you decide to use, your mammoth and caveboy may not be exactly the same size as the one in the pattern.)
