Difficulty: Beginner to intermediate
You will only need to know basic crochet skills to make this pattern:
-Single crochet
-Single crochet increase
-Invisible decrease
-BLO (back loops only)
-Basic sewing skills to assemble all the parts together
Materials you will need:
-Size I (5.5 mm) crochet hook
-#6 bulky yarn in the following amounts and colors: 90 grams in the main color (white). 44 grams in a secondary color (pink or purple). A small amount of yellow for the horn. I used Parfait Chunky by Premier Yarns. I used colors “Hibiscus”, “Haze”, “White”, and “Summer Squash” for my unicorns.
-A small amount of worsted-weight yarn in the same color as the mane
-Fiberfill (or your stuffing of choice)
-15 mm black safety eyes
-Stitch marker
-Yarn needle
-Scissors
-Straight pins
Approximate finished size: 11 in (28 cm) tall. (Please be aware that depending on your gauge and the type of hook and yarn you decide to use, your unicorn may not be exactly the same size as the one in the pattern.)
