You will only need to know basic crochet skills to make this pattern:
-Single crochet
-Single crochet increase
-Invisible decrease
-Basic sewing skills to assemble all the parts together
Materials you will need:
-Size I (5.5 mm) crochet hook
-#6 super bulky yarn. I used Parfait Chunky by Premier Yarns in the color "Fog"
-A small amount of worsted-weight yarn in the black
-Fiberfill (or your stuffing of choice)
-12 mm black safety eyes
-Stitch marker
-Yarn needle
-Scissors
-Straight pins
Approximate finished size: 8 in (20 cm) long. (Please be aware that depending on your gauge and the type of hook and yarn you decide to use, your manatee may not be exactly the same size as the one in the pattern.)
