You will only need to know basic crochet skills to make this pattern:
-Single crochet
-Slip stitch
-Single crochet increase
-Half double crochet

-Back Loops Only
-Basic sewing skills (the whipstitch) to assemble all the parts together
Materials you will need:
-Size G (4.00mm) crochet hook
-Worsted weight yarn
-Fiberfill (or your stuffing of choice)
-10.5mm black safety eyes (you can purchase these eyes HERE)
-18mm black safety nose (you can purchase these HERE)
-Stitch marker (I highly recommend these ones HERE)
-Bent tip tapestry needle
-Scissors
Finished bears measures about 6 in (15.5 cm) tall - polar bear measures about 8 in (20.5 cm) tall w/hat. (Please be aware that depending on your gauge and the type of hook and yarn you decide to use, your bear may not be exactly the same size as the one in the pattern.)
