Hey, all! It's been over a month since I published my puppy dog pattern, but I'm trying to put a post together after each new pattern, listing the exact materials I used. That way, if you want to use what I used, you'll know where to find it!
First off, you can find Chet's pattern
HERE. I've loved seeing the adorable versions that others have come up with using this pattern and I can't wait to see yours too!
Below are listed the materials I used to make Chet and links to purchase them!
Yarn – For the tan, I used Red Heart Super Saver in the color
"Buff". You can purchase it
HERE.
For the dark brown, I used Red Heart Soft yarn in the color,
“Chocolate”. You can purchase it
HERE. The reason I used Red Heart Soft instead of Super Saver is that I find the dark brown color in Super Saver to be very rough and inconsistent in weight compared to the other colors. Red Heart Soft is wonderful!
Safety eyes – I used 15mm eyes for Chet and I purchased them
HERE. These are the best value I’ve found! If you’re interested in other safety eyes I use, take a look at my blog post
HERE.
Safety nose - I used an 18mm safety nose that I purchased from Shiny Happy World and you can find them
HERE. I've used brown or black and they both look great!
Stuffing – For Chet, I used stuffing like you can find
HERE.
Other odds and ends – I’m never without my trusty Clover Amour stitch markers and if you could be in love with a stitch marker, I guess I’d be in love. You can find them
HERE.
These are the tapestry needles I use
HERE.
Crochet hooks are very personal things, but just in case you ever wondered what I use, I love Susan Bates brand and almost never use anything else! Find them
HERE.
Well, I guess that’s it for Chet’s pattern! Let me know if you have any other questions about materials!
