Christmas in July: Angel

Hello, all! Today I'm bringing you the third addition to my Christmas in July project! I wasn't sure how I was going to make this little angel and I almost marked him off my list. I wasn't feeling inspired to create him and couldn't come up with any good design ideas. But then, inspiration struck and I came up with this cutie! Storyland Amis, Christmas in July Amigurumi Angel Meet Gabriel the Baby Angel! My favorite part about this little guy is his hair! Little angels with curly hair? Um, yes, please! Storyland Amis, Christmas in July Amigurumi Angel I used the berry stitch to create the texture. Apparently, it's a very non-traditional kind of berry stitch because I couldn't find a tutorial on YouTube anywhere showing the way I did it. I'll be putting together a tutorial on how I did mine and I'll also have detailed instructions on how to make the hair once his pattern is out. The i-cord is actually quite easy to make (after all, the "i" stands for idiot) and you don't need to be intimidated by it. However, I will have an alternate halo version just in case you don't want to give it a try. Here is a little video I put together on how to make the i-cord. Stay tuned for my last Christmas in July design later this week! Which one has been your favorite so far?
