2017 in Review – 11 Things That Made it Extra Special

Wow! I can’t believe that 2017 is almost over! It’s been an absolutely incredible year for Storyland Amis and I’m so thankful for where God has allowed me to take my business. I’m also extremely thankful to YOU for following along and always encouraging me!

Every New Year’s Eve it’s always fun to take a moment to look back and see everything that has happened over the course of that year. Exslusive Fresh Stitches Tiger Design

Hey, ya’ll! I recently had the great honor of being able to design an exclusive pattern for Stacey Trock’s Ami Club for the month of December! When Stacey first contacted me about it, I wasn’t at all sure what I wanted to design. For some reason, a tiger or a raccoon kept popping into my mind so I suggested them both. Stacey had just recently designed a raccoon, so I settled on a tiger!

I had designed a tiger about a year ago for my 100 amigurumi countdown, but he was only about four inches tall and I knew that I wanted to make some needed changes to the design so I might as well start afresh with a new tiger design that was about twice the size of my first one.
